Beast of a bike :)

I have had my CT20S now for a few days and I’m very impressed. This bike is a beast. Allmost like a motorcycle and as fast.
I have many E bikes and this one seems to be special. Not only does it have tons of power, but it’s balanced well. There is no wobble at high speed and it seems very safe. It just has a basic shock absorber system which fine for everyone but I feel but if you were to spend a little money with improved shock absorbers that you could have this thing handle like a really nice expensive fast sportbike but for a lot less money. Again it’s fine just as it is, but it’s so tempting to turn it into a screamer sportbike with a few simple mods.
The hydraulic brakes are quite good and they can stop you quickly and lock up the wheels if you need to.Again you could probably mod them them up bigger if you wanted to, but most everyone wouldn’t need to.
The battery is really amazing. It does last up to 100 km if you were to take it kind of easy on part of the way.
But I’ve gone on trips at full speed most all of the time and got close to 75 km out of it.
It’s really fun pulling it out of the tube. It just keeps coming and coming!
The charger is nice and recharge it pretty quickly. And if you were to get the bike bag like I did, you can fit the lightweight battery charger in there and carry it with you. Just taking a break and charging it for 20 minutes gives you close to 20% power back.
And even if you were to run out of power, you can still pedal your way on flat ground if you had to. I have other powerfully ebikes that no way you can pedal them.
It’s also geared well for getting a workout using peddling if you want, which is what I got it for. You can easily adjust the parameters of the power of each gear.
So using the first couple power levels is very helpful on flat or uphill rides that you want to get some exercise with.
As far as being a commuter bike, I think it would be excellent but it does look intimidating, especially with the big 20 x 5 wheels. I thought 20 x 4 looked big.:)
The tires are very nice and are puncture resistant.
I mostly ride on dirt and gravel trails some of them quite steep. It has turned out to be really good on that. And to get to these areas sometimes I have to go on a public road with fast cars and I’m able to 45-50 miles an hour with this thing.
Of course, if you’re going to drive this thing fast, you really need to respect that speed and best to have have motorcycle protective gear. But the learning curve on driving this is good and fast.
I did get the optional sidecar with it and it is fun and it looks really cool. I have always wanted a sidecar and this was the affordable way to do it and the bike definitely has enough power for it.
But you need to understand when you put a sidecar on a bike. It turns into a poorly handling car as there’s no leaning. So that means you go slow, and that means you have to practice with the sidecar A LOT before you take someone. You have to get the alignment about 2 to 3° away from the bike and you really need weight in the side car even if there’s no one in it you should put some weight in there when driving it. Otherwise, when you turn left the side car will go way high up into the air all the time which is sketchy and stressful unless you’re doing it on purpose, which is kind of fun. But if it comes down hard, I’m sure it would be bad on it so not a good idea to do that much.
If you get a sidecar, please practice a lot with it before you give someone a ride nd go very slow when trying to turn. And the weight limit is something like 150 or 160 pounds so really is only for children and pets. But I have fit smaller adults which was fun.
I also got the rear rack, which is really nice. If I want the rear rack and the side car on at the same time, I have to do a bit of modification on the sidecar attachment to use both at the same time which shouldn’t be hard to do or you could just take the rear rack off when you want to use the sidecar.
Working with Coswheel has been good. I had this bike delivered to Thailand and there was some delay with the delivery. But everything arrived in good shape and they made it right in the long run. Probably getting it delivered to bigger countries is much easier.

Fantastic ebike

I have had my CT20s ebike since December 2023, it already has a little over 900 miles traveling almost all of Miami, nothing on my ebike has failed, it is really very pleasant to ride and gives a pleasant feeling of freedom. It is certainly one of the best purchases I have ever made in my life, the shipping and support from coswheel has been wonderful.

Top quality design

Waiting for my CR20S to arrive. Had the T20 and loved it. But want more torque, more power and a lower seat. Full review to come. And have had a great service from Coswheel now and in the past. They design very cool bikes.

Good product. There are only a few drawbacks. Hard seat, not suitable for long journeys. The rear mudguard is too short and therefore provides poor protection in wet conditions. On the first day, the speed reached 66 km/h, then only 50 km/h. I still don't know why that is. The engine is powerful. The distance is long, depends on how fast you drive.
